When it comes to present buying, at Xmas or any other time of the year, we men are generally rubbish. Yes, I know it’s only June, but if we are in confessional mode here, the other part of our honesty should be admitting that we all leave it until Xmas eve before we do any present buying and then it’s usually an ill fitting set of underwear bought in a haze of lunchtime punch or a frantic visit to an all night garage for dying flowers and out of date chocs.

 

This year however, things are going to be different. Just like the women who appear to buy gifts when the January sales start, we’ll be giving our loved ones well thought out, classy gifts that have been bought well before Santa embarks on his mass spree of breaking and entering.

 

It might also be worthwilse trying to find agift for her that satisfies the missus, but also works well for the men. Although i’d be careful buying anything that is too obviously more for you than for the lady.
