USB Gifts For Everyone
In this increasingly computer-focused world, USB fuelled gadgets are becoming very popular. Amongst the huge selection of novelty USB gifts that are available (including a USB humping dog, USB colour-changing chameleon and USB ‘Whack-a-Mole’) there are also a number of gifts that look really useful and should make excellent gifts this Christmas.
The first of these useful gadgets is the USB cup warmer, which I plan to purchase for my father. This gift is ideal for anyone like him who makes themselves a brew, sits down at their desk and forgets about their beverage until it is too cold to enjoy. The installation-free hot plate will keep your cuppa hot for up to an extra thirty minutes brilliant!
One more of my Christmas gift ideas is to get my mother a pair of pink and fluffy USB heated slippers. This gift is ideal since she loves to spend hours browsing eBay listings in the evenings but the family PC is located in our (currently very cold) conservatory and her feet receive quite a chill.
Continuing the USB gift theme, I also plan to get my brother a biology student at university a USB microscope. He has been saying for a long time that he needs a smaller and more mobile one than his usual ’scope and this should be ideal. I also plan to buy a retro looking USB powered lamp for my older sister who has been complaining recently about a lack of light in her room, since it is winter and her room is on the basement level of our house. Using her PC to check the latest Facebook gossip should become even more of a hobby for her!
Not sure I’ll be able to completely avoid the novelty USB stocking fillers though I am quite keen on getting my friend who is a bit of a Japanophile - a sushi, Californian roll shaped USB drive. Even though the drive has a limited 1GB memory limit, I am sure he’ll really love the sentiment.
